We have just moved into our all new store at 9, Silver Street in the middle of Yeovil after 24 years in our previous premises.
This Grade 2 Listed building used to be the 'Kings Arms' pub.
Now the only things 'on tap' are great sounds with fantastic home cinema and, of course, multi-room systems.

We have tried to make your experience as pleasant as possible with surroundings more in line with the your own home...i.e. 'real life', not just a shop filled with shelves and shelves of black boxes.
Great equipment demonstrated in realistic surroundings by knowledgeable staff who really care about the end result.....a happy customer!

Mike opened his first shop in Yeovil over 24 years ago, stocking and demonstrating a range of quality hi-fi products not before available outside of the larger towns.

Mike's enthusiasm for music, especially live concerts, led him along the road in search of a realistic and enjoyable sound system for the home. On his quest Mike admits that he made many mistakes, often being seduced by 'flavour of the month' magazine reviews and cosmetic appeal. The pressure of the commission based salesman also took it's toll.

In an endeavour to fulfil his desire, Mike decided to make a career change, leaving the security of a family based business, to work in a reputable hi-fi shop for over twelve years before branching out on his own.

The staff at both of the Mike Manning Audio stores are all music and home cinema enthusiasts, NOT commission based salesmen. Between them they have amassed over 50 years experience of demonstrating, selling and installing 'quality' audio and video equipment. Their customer's have learned to trust their judgement and expertise.

Over the last few years Mike Manning have also become much more involved with 'custom install' of 'multi-room' systems both in domestic as well as commercial environments.

Demonstrations, of both Hi-fi and Home Cinema, are carried out in a relaxed and un-pressured manner, making it a more pleasurable experience choosing your heart's (and Ears) desire.

Mike Manning Audio is an independant company NOT a franchise!
The product range that we demonstrate and sell is carefully chosen
by us for it's performance. not review or commercially led.
